Yes, I have it installed. I had. I just deleted lo-menubar, and LO doesn't
crash anymore.
Though Unity is installed, I stopped using it in favor of GNOME 2.
If this is true reason then I'm OK with absence of lo-menubar. I don't need
this package actually but I still believe LO shoudn't crash with
At-F2 -> gksu software-center
works for me, but if that's the real reason for the crash, it should be
possible to iron this out 'til Beta2 :-)
