Public bug reported: Pidgin 2.10.0 Ubuntu 11.10 beta1 with latest updates as of 14/09/2011
The window isn't properly handled upon first startup. Clicking anywhere transfers clicks to underlying window, as if this window didn't exist at all. Upon Maximise, doesn't maximise fully. Breaks window decorations too. Interestingly, upon killing/quitting and starting it from the terminal/Dash again, it works smoothly. No errors, no wierd behaviour ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: pidgin 1:2.10.0-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-10.16-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-10-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu1 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Sep 14 20:54:39 2011 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/pidgin InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta amd64 (20110901) SourcePackage: pidgin UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug apport-lpi oneiric running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/850093 Title: Improper Window Handling on Startup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/850093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
