I can't reproduce this with any type of connection (wifi, wired, or
wwan), and I've precisely been doing work to make sure the applet always
shows up in sessions outside Unity/indicator widgets, which obviously
meant testing and retesting precisely this...

I reinstalled Ubuntu 11.04 on the x121e changing the BIOS setting from "UEFI
only" to "Legacy only".
Bad news: I cannot produce the requested log file.
Good news: Everythings works fine now, Fn kes and wireless work properly
after suspend/resume.

I'm having devices temperature higher by 10°C since i use kernel
3.0.0.10 (generic-pae). I first check hddtemp, then psensor to confirm
hdd temp, and discovered that fan min/max settings are unrealistic: max
lowest is 200 & max highest is 9
I don't have a wireless card, and this happened, so I don't think it's
related to wireless.
