For a workaround to what sounds like exactly the same problem. Window
titlebars fully disappearing because of the decorator crashing on

I have the same problem in Linux Mint 11. Replaced command "gtk-windows-
decorator --replace" with "/usr/bin/compiz-decorator", and this fixes
it.

The machine in question that I was experiencing this on is now running
Lucid, and the problem appears to have been resolved at some point. The
bluetooth drivers in Lucid work fine on this box.

2) Press Alt-B
3) Click on the Global Menu on the Bookmarks menu
What should happen? Bookmark menu should open.
What happens really? Bookamark menu does not react to click of the mouse. You
have to click anywhere else (even on another menu) and
I have ppas, but not overlay-scrollbar ppa nor unity ppa. The overlay-
scrollbar version is 0.1.12-0ubuntu1. It's unity 2d and nvidia.
Trying to explain better:
1. open Ubuntu Software Central
2. go to a category with many apps
3. make the overlay scrollbar buttons up and down appear
4. put the mo
I am using Gnome-shell and GDM. This also happening to me but and i am
not using LightDM. I get errors when logging in to Gnome-classic but it
doesn't crash. Also as long as i do not touch the activities button
gnome-shell works.

A nice workaround is to set /apps/notify-osd/multihead_mode to "focus-
follow". This doesn't work very well with Unity's panels though, because
those panels aren't normal windows and can't be detected by notify-osd,
so the notifications end up overlapping the panel. It's at least better

compiz-core 0.9.4+bzr20110606-0ubuntu5 landed and breaks Unity < 4.2.0
