Till, what if strlen(DNSSDComputerName) > AVAHI_LABEL_MAX - 4? Wouldn't

Seems I spoke too soon, I'm now unable to reproduce it. Regardless,
after some discussion - this should be a compiz issue rather than
nautilus, unless you can say that it always happens with nautilus and
never with any other application.

Hello,
Here is one more thing to try: try uninstalling fglrx, from the terminal
type:
sudo apt-get remove fglrx
then reboot, and try installing again using the additional drivers tool.
If it fails or you get an error message, please attach the
/var/log/jockey.log file so I can see what the erro
