This feature is available in Libav 0.7 and later as found in ubuntu
oneiric. Natty and earlier ship with Libav 0.6, which don't have
avfilter support yet.
If you are curious, you can try the motumedia libav daily ppa for
packages that replace the system Libav with latest trunk.

It effects me as well with Ubuntu 9.04.
The Update Manager offers me [Partial Upgrade]. I click it, wait for the
downloading to finish, and get a screen that offers me to [Start Upgrade]. I

I believe there are improvements to the current behavior planned but
what you requested does not seem like a realistic solution to me for the
situations when there are more than 2 windows associated with the same
launcher.

I Just Upgraded to ubuntu 11.4 , everything worked perfect before the upgrade
. after upgrade finished i rebooted then it launch with no errors or problem i
logged in in the normal login box , then no desktop loaded only the violet
background and blinking cursor , no panel

Such workaround didn't work anymore for me.
So finally I uninstalled Natty and went back to install Maverick; The
screen brightness (also changing it with the applet) and everything else
is working fine for me now.

Deluge updates paused
Having tried many combinations all ending in the same file system
creation error and managed to destroy the GRUB in the process. I used
Vista recovery to get back Windows, then used 10.04 live CD give me Disk
Utility. With that I removed all the Linux partitions, except the last

I think this might just be indicative of the general poor quality of the
2.6.38 kernel when it comes to power management. I have just installed
the 2.6.39 kernel from the kernel ppa and my laptop now idles at loadavg
of around 0.1
This new kernel suffers from a significant increase in wakeups a se
