automatically in classic mode (because my GPU not supported by Unity).

So the problem is, libproxy uses Xlib, thus initializing Xlib for
thread-unsafe operation. Thus both the VLC Qt4 interface and the VLC
skins interface refuse to start afterward. So then VLC goes to command
line mode. Therefore, it won't appear on the graphical desktop.

I have the same bug with AMD Phenom II and ATI 4770. When I suspending
computer after hibernate system indicator show me 75-85% consuming CPU.
In system monitor compiz consume 295-300% cpu. It seems like other bug
in system monitor (300% consuming m.b. full consuming 3 cores of 4 in my
processor)
I reinstalled 10.10 on a laptop and used it as a torrent server and it's
completely stable, been running for over a week quite happily. My ubuntu
11 machine doesn't crash every five minutes any more now I'm not running
a torrent client but it still freezes if there's "heavy" network traffic
such as

It works for me now. I hope it will solve your case as well. There is no
need for any work with terminal or something, the only thing I had to
change was the keyboard layout while logging into Ubuntu 11.04
1. restart your computer

3. choose correct lang

I'm using Natty,
I did not have to set BSSID.
The thing I did to get this solved is.
1) create a file named 'wireless' in /etc/pm/power.d
2) edit this file and enter the following text:
#!/bin/sh
iwconfig eth1 power off
That's all.
With this approach the normal 'wireless' routine is overruled

I've tested latest sound-2.6.git on x120e, using POS_FIX_LPIB for
ATI/AMD HDA contollers. Record with pulseaudio seems work fine. I'll
have more tests tomorrow and investigate the issue for root cause.
