As an advice, I am ubuntu user since 4.10, and I always suggest a full ubuntu installation from scratch.
Upgrades between releases are not as good as expected. This issue has been improved, however, it is in constant evolution. It is better to backup the system every six months and then install the ubuntu release from scratch. Just an advice. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/786551 Title: installation update 10.04 to 11.04 crashed -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
