Correction to the previous post. It seems that adding Mod4 to the key
mapping resolves the issue on my end.

I've the same problem with Y450. With the battery, it doesn't boot at
all, on AC, it boots but with a noticeable lag. Occurs with Ubuntu 11.04

Syncing used to work 100% on this netbook running 10.04 Netbook Edition - it

I have a Dell laptop, m1210 using Ubuntu 11.04. When booting with livecd
I knew my delay problem was because of the dvd. Maybe the problem is
like Jarret's. I don't know how to compile a kernel, I'll use Jarret's
guide (thanks for that). But I'm afraid when a kernel update comes out,

Confirming that I have the same problem with an HP DM1 3101ea which uses
the AMD E-350. Using the software video driver I can suspend and resume
but with the catalyst driver it never resumes.
Even with the software driver if I leave it it suspended for a long time
then the resume starts but after

boinc crashes with "*** buffer overflow det
I am having the same problem. It does not seem to be related to what I
am running. Sometimes it happens when I have microsoft word open on wine
(doing work-- just what I want, a crash when I'm in the middle of an
assignment!), or sometimes it just does it when I'm browsing the web.
Please fix this
