Sorry for delay. Also I have switched since to Oneiric, but I see no more the dependency between libgnome2-dev and libesd-dev regarding: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/amd64/libgnome2-dev/2.32.1-0ubuntu3 So it is closed.
