This completely breaks libpam-mount for me with CIFS
libpam-mount mounts the user's home directory via CIFS from a server
when the login. As we have thousands of users, it's silly to have them
all in the fstab. It used to work perfectly in Karmic.
Using sudo is not really an option for us either.

kernel boot messages with the bad kernel. Add 'drm.debug=14' to the
kernel boot options, so that the kern.log would contain plenty of

After a few more days of use, it seems as if this issue does not occur
if I use only the mouse for switching desktops and moving windows. It
also doesn't seem to happen if I wait a second between each keyboard-
based action instead of doing multiple actions in quick succession. So,

I had to remove the directory, by running following commands:
$sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/list
Then I ran the command:

value from true to false by double-clicking on it (see file attached).

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Moving this to update-manager
for triage as the kernel should definitely not be part of the desktop

Problem confirmed on my 11.04 install as well connection to Mac OS X

When setting middlemouse.contentLoadURL to true in the about:config
settings, this setting will get lost, when I restart Firefox. This only
happens to this setting, other settings won't get lost. The problem
first appeared on Tuesday, May 17th 201
I forgot to specify the package version and distr. Its firefox
4.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.2 on 11.04 as you can see from the

/apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager to true?

I have found a solution and this was not a bug. I apologize. The problem was
that the wireless network card was interfering causing jack to momentarily
loose priority. The solution for me was to switch off (power off) the wireless
card. Now jack runs without xruns. This was using a lo

I reported the original bug (#366884). Since then I have upgraded my
hardware (quad-core amd64), and used a generic kernel instead of linux-
kernel-rt. The problem disappeared, but then again, I am not doing
anything professional, etc.
