What you've posted in question 154811 indicates that you're able to boot the
machine (just not see the GRUB2 menu). So please attach valuable information to
this bug report by booting into Ubuntu, opening a Terminal window (Ctrl+Alt+T),
and running this command:
apport-collect 7813
Sorry I don't know if that's possible. I haven't got any samba shares.

When I try to print a document from acroread to my network printer , the print
gives me an empty page (the original document should be 12 page doc), the same
document gets printed fine with evince.
