I've testing the Maverick proposed package and did not encounter any

I am not sure if this is the same problem I have. simple-scan only
supports two scan modes:
- Text (B/W)
- Graphics (colour)
Therefore, if you select graphics, you get the paper scanned in colour,
but the cleaning filters used in the text mode are not applied.
simple-scan should support a third
I have this issue on my N210 on Maverick (2.6.35). Screen stays black
after resume. I've installed a Lucid kernel (2.6.32). This kernel does
resume from suspend properly and seems to work ok with Maverick
otherwise too.

The syslog attached is captured with a Huawei K3765, other Huawei modems behave
