Few minutes before, I installed the Ubuntu build from

don't see vmwgfx drivers been loaded. so the issue still persists.

Hi, and thanks for reporting this bug. It was filed against the "old"
version of Unity where we'll have a new and almost entirely rewritten
version for Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal). This unfortunately means that
we wont be able to find resources to investigate and fix bugs in the old
version.

Can they be merged? I understand this was initially made as a workaround for
bug 697999 .
Can you make sure they still apply against and work with the latest lirc
package in natty?
