I have set up Nautilus bookmarks to various external USB disks.
In the Places menu of the top gnome-panel in the Ubuntu Classic session,
and in the Bookmarks menu of Nautilus, these bookmarks do not show up
when the devices are not plug

Deluge added its own indicator meanwhile, and that is using the unedited
tray_menu from the GtkStatusIcon. However, the submenus are not
displayed at all here, so this seems to be an issue still.
They are using Glade, maybe that worsens the situation.

I get this bug too on my HP Pavilion DV6 laptop. For me it only ever
happens after a suspend to ram, and the symptoms are the same. My
physical ram is <50% full, but the swap space just fills up and churns
the hard disc forever. The system becomes barely usable (mouse pointer

Hmm, just a thought, but what processes if any get triggered after a
suspend-to-ram is restored? I just noticed that after running sudo
swapoff -a, I now have dpkg running in a background process. Could it
actually be a bug in dpkg, meaning that some people always see it after
a suspend to ram but
Hmm, is it when automatic security updates are pushed out. It may be a
coincidence. Can anyone else confirm if they see this pattern?

Can't add any further useful information but my installation is affected
by this bug too.
I opened terminal and executed a few commands.
I went to the settings manager and changed the theme.
The option to send a bug report was displayed as I moved from theme to theme.

I've changed the status to 'New' as this is reproducible each time I
have terminal opened and I change the theme.
This is on a fresh Xubuntu 11.04 installation. Installed from daily
build of 2011/05/04.

I have just tested the latest alpha of natty and the bug still remains.
I also tested with the final release of 10.10 and the bug remains there as well.
Testing the upstream change results in the same issue as described
originally, ie does not fix the issue.
The patch I proposed fixes the issue,
I've found out how to reproduce bug:
I have auto hiding vertical panel on left side of my desktop
I run gnome system monitor
Each time I go with cursor at left side of screen, panel shows and I can see
drivemount-applet takes more memory...
Try it: put drivemount on auto hiding panel and try show/

The ip-addres 169.254.169.254 for metadata service is now found in the
ifconfig. I think this is done by some registrations in the cloud.
So, i think: you must register something (Walrus or Cluster) before
reboot, when eucalyptus-nc is installed on the same server.

I'm running Ubuntu natty alpha 3 (with all updates until today), and postler
work after a very easy hack ;)
I have modified the postler/postler-accounts.vala file like this:
$ bzr diff

Happened to me (apport just pushed me here rather than letting me report
with files to upload) - shortly after reboot after upgrade today, and
immediately after opening a nautilus window on a firewire drive by
clicking on its launcher icon. x86_64.
