happens when making thumbnails of the some of the svg tests in the grafx
bot firefox plugin.
here is one that triggers the crash. the thumbnail is written, so
nautilus will only crash the first time you view a folder containing it.
empty ~/.thumbnails to get it to crash again.

If you install SysInfo (gets it from Ubuntu Repository) you have the
same problem with v0.7-3, I uninstalled it.
Turns out the Mint "HardInfo" data + benchtest utility gets all the info

If I understand correctly you have 2 problems in the spread of windows:
1) Windows are not being focused when the mouse pointer goes over them (like it
does in Unity 3D)
2) Windows content are never being updated
I am afraid we will only fix part 1) of the bug b
This is by design to allow people to find their various partitions more
easily.

Till now I've tested 5 OSes:
4 are buggy:
Fedora 13/14
Ubuntu 10.04/10.10
The 5th is not because it does not use NetworkManager (it is Mandriva 2010.1).
Also Gentoo (which I use w/o NM as well) is free of this bug.
This makes me sure it is NetworkManager that causes all this hell for
me.

I can not reproduce the bug anymore in an fully updated Lucid
installation. Neither could I find something in the source code of the
plug-in that would explain the described behavior of this bug. So bug
closed, also from my point of view.
