I meanwhile tested the whole thing on a fresh installation of Kubuntu 10.10 and
the problem exists exactly the same there.
(While on Kubuntu 8.04 everything works still without any problems.)

libdvdread has a function DVDUDFVolumeInfo() which can retrieve the volume
name. Perhaps isoinfo (and/or volname) should use this function to handle udf
volumes.
