Not a cheese bug. Cheese is just a recording program, it displays the
video output from the webcam. and it can only make software changes.
The webcam settings [FPS, etc..] are controlled by the drivers and how
far the webcam driver support has been done for the particular webcam
model.

Well, I can confirm this on Ubuntu 10.10. Unfortunately I did not notice
before now that this bug report is about savage. It seems most 3D usage
will make xorg crash, with the same stack trace as you have in your

First I did try the forum but soon realize it would be great feature for
Cheese dev to implement in the program. I did install v4l2ucp and
doesn't seem to effect anything even with the 'backlight compensation'
on and updated.

Shutter don't preserve screenshot saving
Did you change the setting in the bios? In bios you can set it to need fn-key
to use function key or to use fn-key for the special keys.
I have an hpmini 210 and no problems.

It seems options set in /etc/default/ssh is not used when launching sshd
with "service ssh start" but it does if I do "/etc/init.d/ssh start". So
even if I have -4 sshd option to workaround the IPv6 problem, it is not
used by default ...

Are you really sending it to the launcher ? Since the launcher does
other things than minimize/restore then you could as well call "
minimize" for "hide", it might be a more explicit solution.
And since you do not use the desktop you could even consider the windows
to be on a stack. And call "min

Kosumo, thank you for your detailed description.
But the overall speed is not a matter of key strokes. It is slow from
the beginning (marking text, copy/paste, typing, scrolling...).
It feels like a remote desktop.

When I install fglrx and enable it, upon reboot I am greeted with a
blank, black screen and no graphics output. I can activate and use a
terminal blind by memory of the prompts to uninstall fglrx, but at
present it is totally useless on Maverick.
