Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

When using flash on Chromium or Firefox in Ubuntu Maverick, the videos
play at around four times their usual speed or more, and with no sound.
npviewer.bin and pulseaudio run up to around ~200% CPU usage, which is
much higher than usual. Videos are totally unwatchable. Until yesterday
or the day before when some updates were applied videos played at their
normal speed, and there was no such spike in CPU usage.
