When I shutdown my PC and start again, the state for the network
interfaces is on - thats OK - than it was also on before. But when it
was off before it also set the state to on - thats not OK.

I have been able to duplicate this with the ureadahead bug, in
combination with a profile reload. The apparmor_parser depending on
your set up is using between 50 - 100 MB to recompile policy, putting an
addition stress on the VM. In addition when the policy is loaded the
kernel will try to alloc

/root/etc/rc?.d/[SK]??[gkx]dm, but gdm uses /etc/init/gdm.conf instead

I installed the system with the options 'i915.modeset=0 xforcevesa'.
I only can run LVDS-1 with vesa and i915.modeset=0.
When an external screen is connected on VGA-1, you can only see the desktop on

Indeed, I am working with the rest of the DPMT (which I joined recently)
on this.
The initial upload was (rightfully) rejected because it was just the
pypi distribution. This one will build from the swig build, and so
should be acceptable to upload into Debian.

For me, these are not related, because I'm not modifying the bridge
when the connectivity is lost. As long as there is steady network
trafic (for example a ping every minute), the connectivity is not
lost. As soon as I stop this, the connectivity will be lost within a
few hours.

This Bug can be reproduced as Reiner Jung in comment #11 describes.
Before marking this bug as fixed I uninstalled nautilus-bzr and didn't
notice that it was just because of that.
Steps to reproduce:
1. sudo apt-get install nautilus-bzr
2. killall nautilus
3. Open any sftp folder. ssh wrongly asks
