Public bug reported: I just used the July 23rd Snapshot Live CD of Maverick Meerkat. I usually have Firefox (3.6.7) and OpenOffice Open; but noticed that my mouse would freeze from time to time.
The last time it froze, I was on Firefox; and the mouse froze mid- movement when an unsolicited pop-up window opened up at worldlingo.com (I was on google's gmail, worldlingo - translation, and EU Agency's Euractive Jobsite). I was able to use the keyboard to save my work; but had to reboot. Can this be a Firefox or Xulrunner vulnerability? What steps (I read around a bit; and know I can "report a problem" on the browser or alt f2) should I take to backtrace and identify this phenomenon? Since I'm on an Alpha Product (Maverick - figure with the vulnerability issues, it's safer work with a Snapshot Live CD from time to time), what's a good set of backup-debug packages I should invoke here? Thanks. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Mouse Freezes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
