Instead of pkill gnome-panel && gnome-panel as someone suggested I just
do:
killall gnome-panel
in Startup Applications. (it was also suggested by someone previosuly)

Hi Sebastien
Using the recently updated Rythmbox, it will now see files on a gvfs
share (via SMB). It's *really* slow (when compared to using 9.10), but
it does work.

(rm -rf /var/lib/dkms/*/3.0.8).
