I'm experiencing this myself... Running Lucid x64, connected to a NAS (Dlink)
via the network browser...I can browse the files, and can play individual files
on MoviePlayer. On Rhythmbox, when I want to add to the library, I am able to

from the applications menu (forgetting does not mean the functionality

Okay, so basically the "problem" is that there is no 'hdparm' init
script in Ubuntu anymore, and hdparm settings are set by an udev script.
The udev script doesn't use the "command_line { ... }" section of

Seems that phonon-backend-gstreamer | phonon-backend does not work,
because phonon itself prefers the xine backend. Anyway, I added a
suggest on libxine1-ffmpeg for the 1.0 package. I marked this bug as fix
released with it and will stay in kontact with upstream, so that we can

If I unload Ktorrent (with lots of torrents uploading) "The process for
the file protocol died unexpectedly" is triggered only after several
hours. With Ktorrent working 30 minutes - hour usually is enough.
