I too have this issue, and it renders UbuntuOne and Gwibber inoperable.
This is a clean install of 10.04 with all updates applied as of May 6th,
2010. So far the hacks for this look pretty ugly, so I will wait for a

Those are the same symptoms that I experienced. Only difference is that
I wasn't able to connect via SSH (the box is running Samba, BIND9, DHCP3
and SSH, and a few other stuff, virtualbox for one).
Ctrl+Alt+Del to force a reboot was recognized and halted all the
processes and rebooted the machine.
Downloaded the drivers from Realtek and installed the driver. Wireless
was able to work if I manually stopped then started up the wireless
connection. Then today I got the new update from Ubuntu, which contain
an update for acpi and now is working fine.

this also solved for me in my test server... I think its the only issue
that still prevents my upgrade to 10.04 in the official server.

9 installed on your system. Could you please go to System >
Administration > Synaptic Package Manager, then search for 'flashplugin-
nonfree' and make sure it's installed? If it isn't, then you can install

I reinstalled the metacity. Interestingly, the right side of the
desktop behaved like a bottom row panel! Therefore, I was able to
delete it! I attached a screenshot showing that happening. This
however, has not fixed the firefix issue. Thank you for the time

Estaba actualizando el sistema, pero siempre tengo problemas con este
paquete, haga lo que haga, si actualizo algo o instalo algo el paquete
xulrunner devuelve errores de actualización o que no puede configurar

It's not a build issue. He's not using system cairo and we are at the
moment. This specific crash is due to using xulrunner-1.9.1 app
(Seamonkey 2) with cairo >= 1.8.10
