As soon as you plug and configure second display, netbook-launcher
starts using a lot of CPU power. Switching to classic desktop fixes the
problem and system starts working fine. In search for a solution i found
this post on a forum:

I just encountered the same problem. This part of the xorg.conf was the culprit:

SubSection "Display"
Virtual 2515 2136
EndSubSection

Run "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" as described in the xorg.conf file's
comments. It will regenerate the file (without the Virtual stuff) and
netbook-launcher should work normally again after restarting X.
