MSN using a non Microsoft issued ID (in my case cpare_j...@yahoo.com) -

Ah hah, that must be it. I suspected dpkg was getting the wrong
conflicts information somewhere, and that must be it.
Also I'll note that there is no way to have both wine and wine1.2

I can confirm there is a similar symptom, possibly of the same disease,
in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

events end up working only in one window (or panel), but right-clicking

No, I did not install the program before.
I did, however, update Ubuntu from an earlier installation. That may
have caused some problems. I don't know if a fresh install would have
the same results.

Something tells me people were using wine old self-hosted ppa or
switched to the daily ppa. Cause I remember I had this issue when I
upgraded to lucid during development. But I knew that I was using
"upstream" self-hosted packages instead of karmic's wine.

karmic version. Apport wouldn't have let the bug report through if they
weren't official ubuntu packages anyway.
Also, the Karmic packages in the PPA are higher numbered than the ones

drivers?
I haven't tried fglrx yet 'cause of incompatibility with new xorg was reported
since alpha. So I'd like to gather more feedbacks from the others before I'll
give a try to ATI's proprietary myself.

2.6.32-22 on 64-bit. I have a Broadcom 4312 card on my laptop, with a
ZyXEL router using WPA-PSK enabled. Just now I logged on and failed to
connect. Waited a few minutes to try again and was connected to the
