That was my first impression too, but the packages in the log are the
karmic version.  Apport wouldn't have let the bug report through if they
weren't official ubuntu packages anyway.

Also, the Karmic packages in the PPA are higher numbered than the ones
available in Lucid, so they wouldn't upgrade at all (and thus not
conflict)
