I find that KDE on Ubuntu will not lock the screen when I suspend to RAM
or hibernate to disk, if I initiate the action from within KDE
No, I first installed phpmyadmin.
During the process I got the error.
Then I installed MySQL 5.1 server.
Aftert that phpmyadmin was functioning correctly.
In my opinion it is part of the bug that phpmyadmin installation does
not check if MySQL server is running or not, but drops an error
directly.

I should inform the debug team that when I submitted the bug, I was
using Ubuntu. I am now using Xubuntu, and have never seen the error
again. As I believe that the error is related to Compiz, I am no longer

I'm using HP pavilion dv6835nr laptop. I used ubuntu 9.10 and everything
worked perfectly ( I was able to power on with lid closed, and when I
