I'm getting more strange errors like this, but it seems to have improved
on my system. I think the bug might be triggered by low disk space since
when this bug occurred I had less than 200 MB of space available.

It seems to me that the problem has been fixed. The issue didn't occur
on every suspend/resume however, so I can't say I'm 100% sure, but it
hasn't happened since I installed the new kernel.

I've been running Lucid since the first Alpha and since upgrading from
Karmic my locale is screwed up.
/etc/default/locale contains "LANG=en_US.UTF-8", yet in the terminal
LANG is equal to "C". This screws up the default encoding in gnome-

I tried to execute nm-applet, but there still is no network manager icon on my
notification area.
I have internet connection, but... if I quit the notification area of my panel
