The creation of the md* devices in /dev at the time of package
installation does not seem to be too critical. I was able to create a
4x1TB RAID5 with mdadm under 9.10 with no issues, it seems like mdadm
will automatically create the md0 device if it does not exist when
creating a new raid.

I prefer the approach Debian takes which has "mail-transport-agent" as a

Removal request ACK'd. anyevent was never in Debian, and hasn't had
attention in Ubuntu in a long time. Upstream seems to be the same
individual, although the upstream source differs in debian/copyright
(likely bitrot in the anyevent package in the past four years).

Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launch
For the time being, the option nomodeset should work in Lucid. Once
xserver-xorg-video-intel is upgraded from 2.9.1 to 2.10.0 (it will be
soon) it won't work anymore. So it is not a useful workaround, but as
long as it works it is good to have for troubleshooting purposes.
