at state rc. Strange, I thought that grub2 was installed already given
that I installed Karmic, overwriting an existing ext4 root partition

location". The only version of Ubuntu where that was true was Jaunty

mode. I 'woke' it this morning with no issue other than the small
annoyance that the sound is muted.
