Thanks for your report. I haven't looked at the status of the firmware
loading for a while. I suppose that once you have copied the firmware
files to /lib/firmware you do not need any linux-wlan-ng packages? We
should maybe just ship the firmware in a separate package (if we are
allowed to it) inst
I think I just experienced the same error. My wifi connection died just
before Ubuntu One reported a fatal error. I tried to start Ubuntu One
again after re-establishing wifi connectivity, only to have it report
the same error (but not kill wifi again).

I can't i need the laptop for work so as such needed to get it back to a
usable state, so reverted back to installing 9.04 as this works
perfectly..
The issue I had with 9.10 was basically, on completion of the upgrade
using the package manager (apt-get) i reboot the laptop and then login.

If it is fixed, than why would I still be experiencing this problem,
please? I have the latest versions installed, I ran update-initrd -u in
the chroot and ltsp-update-kernels and ltsp-update-image.

This happens to me as well. In addition, mplayer will show subtitles by
default, which it should not do, so presumably the bug is in some
underlying codec library. However, in mplayer I can turn them off by
hitting 'v'.

etracer is extremely slow. It seems like it is not exploiting my 3D
hardware.
Google Earth runs very smooth even with 3D building, but etracer is very
slow, it runs between 1 and 2 frame per second.

inserted into the USB port. NM detects it and I am able to connect to
the network flawlessly.

I don't really see how removing the lirc_imon module from loading when
that module is the one that drives my IR receiver.

The best workaround i found so far is to just use xfce4-power-manager
instead of gnome-power-manager. There's no flickering and power saving
features are working as far as i can tell. Not sure about suspending and
hibernating, though.
