Actualy the application control widget already works to switch between
applications. Just clicking that will trigger the "Show Windows" effect,
so the user can switch between applications. The user must have
composite enabled.

To fix the bug, make sure that the /etc/kernel-img.conf file contains the

the problem on imx51 is fixed with a workaround in initramfs now, it was caused
by the fact that the mxcfb framebuffer driver can not display anything but the
one resolution specified on the cmdline (see Bug: #420555 for details). usplash

hey all, fyi I have rebuilt my mythtv from the 2.1 fixes branch with
the new DBError function from trunk to see if printing out the bind
values helps with diagnosing it.
I am still getting the problem every night so hopefully should have a
better error message tomorrow.

after my yesterday's post of various files I updated the system (>100MB
changes). The error persists. The monitor OSD is exactly the same as shown in
my original camera shot - it sees 1152x900 while the system believes it is
1024x768.
But since both kernel and intel video driver have chan

I can confirm this problem on 8.04 affecting time-admin and network-
admin. The unlock button on both is greyed out making it impossible to

I made some tests with *Jaunty*, as that is what I happen to have
installed on my systems.
On Jaunty the bug does not exist for "ATI Technologies Inc Mobility
Radeon HD 3650"
On Jaunty the problem depicted in my screen shot from 2008-09-04 is
still relevant for "Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400/G45

I have got the wireless working. It seems when the kernel was updated the
new broadcom modules were not built. I rebooted with an older kernel and the
wireless started working. I then updated the system again and the broadcom
modules were built, thus solving the problem.

It appears that this bug is indeed the case - perhaps there needs to be
some copypasta from the "support all mouse buttons" code Colin recently
