I am not sure, if it is related. I have the same problem with my
keyboard from time to time. Switching between desktops with CTRL+F1
during heavy I/O, the last running program opens many help windows.
Sometimes it stops only while pressing the F1 key again. It's like the

I installed kdenlive and ran the initial wizard that comes up. I tried
out kdenlive. I never rendered any video. Then I installed frei0r-

This broke during the upgrade to Jaunty. The current package has the

Same issue here with VirtualBox 2.2.4 after a kernel upgrade.
I found that there was two version in /var/lib/dkms/vboxnetflt: 2.2.4
and 2.1.0.
I removed the wrong version /var/lib/dkms/vboxnetflt/2.1.0 and the
symlink that pointed to it. This solved the problem on vboxnetflt
startup.

There was some "Fail" text in the boot phase, but the text quickly
disappeard.
Now /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.3 status shows:
8.3 main 5432 down postgres /var/lib/postgresql/8.3/main

did you also try karmic before reopening the bug? having it closed if
it's fixed in karmic is correct a jaunty task can be opened if required
but nautilus is not a strong ftp client in any case so that's not a
stopper you could use gftp for example

I have the same problem, but the freezing is certainly not random.
It freezes when the program guide is changing program.
Maybe this helps to solve this bug.
