I have not had any problem with input going to the console using no-
scroll. It is something to be aware of and test for, but it is a viable
option to make things work. no-scroll has nothing to do with where
input is sent. It's more likely that input showing up on the console

this can be fixed ignoring permisions on that drive
I think also, adding an option to automount the drive would help (add to
fstab only)

The Super key cannot be used by default by any application as not all
keyboards have this key. Window managers have been using Alt at least
longer than Inkscape has existed (perhaps GIMP as well) so they should
have known this would cause problems. Currently there is no way to fix
this bug though.

The nvidia settings GUI is quite broken with regards to twinview. I
solved this problem by disabling "nvidia-auto-select," manually setting
the resolution in my xorg.conf file (after backing up the file, of
course), and restarting X.
