I have not had any problem with input going to the console using no- scroll. It is something to be aware of and test for, but it is a viable option to make things work. no-scroll has nothing to do with where input is sent. It's more likely that input showing up on the console directly is related to incorrect input configuration than the issue in this bug at all.
