This item did restart itself and crash itself since the last report,
that system might not be addressing the presence of it not being needed

I've got the same problem (ssc-ffmpeg.so not loading) after upgrading to ubuntu
9.04. I have flac files only, and this was working just fine with iTunes on my

I seem to be having this problem on a Toshiba Satellite A200 1 GB. The
CPU heats up to 78C (in Windows it never gets past 70C) at max usage,
then the laptop shuts down. Sometimes it even refuses to boot for
several minutes after I shut it down (presumably until it cools down). I

I had the same issue
No sound on jaunty with my HDA Intel (using SPDIF)
So, I have close pulse audio
Start it manually
they say : please add your user to "pulse-rt" group
so I do it, "adduser ME pulse-rt"
and then restart my session.
sound is back and perfect ! no need to upgrade kernel ... !!
I had this same error occur to me while I was playing the "Ziggurat"
level without the stones being mixed due to lack of possible moves up
until the last two pieces which were sitting on top of each other and
since the mixing can't move the available positions, it wasn't able to

hardware and switching to Ubuntu (8.10 then 9.04) I found myself unable
to use any application I tried to run

out what the underlying problem is, we need a few files from you attached to
this bug report:
- the output of the command `lspci -vvnn` (identifies your hardware more
precisely)
- /etc/X11/xorg.conf
- /var/log/Xorg.0.lo
I just performed the above requested command, but it looks like apport
crashed before it finished (see terminal output below). I also have an
HP dv7 notebook. Ubuntu 9.04 has been installed via Wubi and I have no
audio as described in Stem's original report.
Here is my terminal output:
I am currently working from a laptop with an almost identical setup,
except that it's 32 bit. I use openjdk. So far I haven't had the problem
on my laptop. Next week I'll be back home, then I'll try the 32bit jdk
on the 64bits computer.

Im still getting drops under ubuntu jaunty 2.6.30-rc8 kernel. At first
the connection was ok but now I keep gettings drops and download speeds
are low, just like the old kernel but this one is somehow more stable.
Is anybody having the same problem under the new kernel?
