Hi, the network manager applet doesn't work proper in Ubuntu Studio
9.04. I'm able to connect on wired network, but I can't manage

Thank you, nloewen, I had already tried what you tell, but it was not
sufficient in my case for getting rid of the bug. If my memory is not
bad (I'm afraid actually it is), the UXA method let my screen freeze
several times, forcing me to logout for restoring the x-server in a good
state.

Selecting text gets hijacked by some kind of clipboard action and "what I
select" gets copied to the clipboard and the selection cleared.
