For this one, you'll need to install the gnome-panel and libpanel .debs.
To get the old ones, recompile without the patch and reinstall the
.debs. There also may be a way to force synaptic/apt-get to reinstall

I ran a few suspend tests with 2.6.28-11 kernel. I found out that

Hi, mr. adams. Did you have to reset the mappings after upgrading to
Jaunty or were the mappings preserved through the Jaunty upgrade?

I believe this is expected NFS behavior, and can be fixed by specifying
a soft mount. Hard mount is default due to possible instability issues
with soft mounting. Using the soft option fixes the problem for me on
all of my machines from Hardy to Jaunty (Ubuntu, Xubuntu, and Kubuntu).

One more thing you could try: it has happened that setting
AccelMethod "uxa"
has mysteriously fixed some bug that I really don't understand how that could
fix. Since this will be the default for the upcoming versions it would be nice
if you could verify that it does not change anything, when u

That was indeed the key -- I had some other garbage per the ubuntu
forums post. Removing it and enabling tiling now has my ThinkPad
correctly resuming.
So, I can confirm that the Xorg edgers PPA kernel and xorg packages
resolve these issues for me.

I'm using Xubuntu 9.04, fully updated.
The workspace will change anytime the mouse pointer reaches the edge of the
screen. The "Wrap workspaces depending on the actual desktop layout" option is
not selected in the Window Manager Tweaks options.

I have just done a complete reinstall of my system, and now the laggy
Plasma issue is gone. However, in Dolphin, the file selection
backgrounds in the main pane remain laggy for 1-2 minutes after dolphin
has been started. After that, they become smooth again. The other
