Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. However, Skype is not from the official Ubuntu repositories, and
as such is not supported here. I'm setting bug status to invalid in
Ubuntu.
Skype issues are recurrent and since it's a proprietary software, no

figuring out why it's really freezing, be my guest and inform you. I
always have to find a terminal to manually kill the gnome-panel so that

Since Hardy is LTS, and i am sticked to OCFS version on 5 servers, i
cannot test it on Jaunty, but i can confirm it on 2.6.24-24-server, as
you see also with bnx2 network card. So i do not want see a statement
like this: "Move away from LTS" because that would make me very sad.

which has this library. (We've merged this for Karmic)
