Randomly, the system stops responding to keyboard and mouse events. I
only can work with current active window (example: console, web browser,
etc), but without using mouse (clic doesn't work) or using menu with
keyboard (Alt+F for file does not work)

machines, and also seem to resolve many of the glitches and performance
problems I had with video feedback.

I upgraded to 9/04 and tried again. There is an additional twist that

When I don't have the virtual desktop size set (meaning I have DRI HW
