contains this line:

I use Ubuntu Jaunty with a Nvidia card in TwinView mode.
Renaming the file /usr/lib/googleearth/libssl.so.0.9.8.removed-by-installer to
/usr/lib/googleearth/libssl.so.0.9.8 solved this problem for me too. Thanks :)

I tried to reproduce with the exact same instructions with likewise-open on a
Jaunty desktop, without success.
Three incorrect, then one correct, I can still log in with cached creds, as
expected.

Having the same problem (also on a Toshiba Tecra A10-14Q PTSB1E, I found
the following modification working for me: in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
I added a line
options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba
and rebooted ... at least I can hear the system sounds and play mp3, ogg
and video with sound
Hi Dustin, got it to work with -62, needed to convert the image created
with virt-install to qcow2 before installing it. Got a few win2000
server running fine for a while now :)

Some additional info:
System messages from the printer works, like "Toner low" etc.
lpq reports the printer as ready, and shows entries when local jobs get
submitted.

loopback the cable and the "video" user could get access the random
hardware through the firewire interface.
