i845 has been running "uxa" a few days now on release level jaunty with linux
images rc2, rc3, rc4, currently karmic koala 2.6.30-1.
Perfectly usable as a 2.0 gHz Celeron except for jerky video. I don't
have a flash video benchmark. Extremetuxpenguin runs about 3.1 to 4
frames a second

process :) I just need to set up a Karmic system to test on... No
immediate hurry I assume?

Cool i've come up with a solution!
* Install systemsettings package
* Install kdeartwork package
That's all you need to select GTK+ theme for KDE application. Once both
of thoses package (and dependency) are installed you will have the kde
System Settings application under Application/System Tool

Sounds like this might be the culprit.

Hi,
I've been having freezing problems also, even after switching from ath5
to madwifi. Not only that, but sometimes Amarok just starts skipping a
little bit, but I'm not sure if this is from the wireless driver. I
don't have the bad performance though (unless I'm just used to shitty
internet).

I have the same problem on an acer travelmate 5720; however, the previous 8.10
after an update had the same problem, even though only with wi-fi and not with
bluetooth; 8.04 worked perfectly.

This is now working in jaunty on my MSI GX700. If anyone is still
having problems, please re-open the bug.

I had the same problem, although not in Ubuntu, but openSUSE!! My audio
was functioning correctly, but at a very low level / volume.
I used the gnome Volume Control's Preferences dialog to select the Front
channel and raise to 100%, it was at 50%, which kind of verif
