I had the same problem on both of my systems, I upgraded both from Intrepid to
Jaunty Final.
The solution:
- remove the contents of ~/.cache/tracker and of ~./.local/share/tracker/data
- tracker-processes -r
- restart trackerd (in a shell with -v 2 to check)
- let the system index over night

If I change the font to "WenQuanYi Zen Hei", the printout is fine - no
corrupted or missing characters are showing, as shown in the attached
photograph of the print out. The top sentence is an attempt to print in
the default Nimbus font, the other sentences (the ones which are
complete) are using
Just to let people know, that since on 9.04, there is no more "options" file in
modprobe.d, just create nvidia.conf and add line in there...
sudo nano /etc/modeprobe.d/nvidia.conf
add line options nvidia NVreg_RegistryDwords="PerfLevelSrc=0x"

Also, run this `gconftool-2 -g /apps/me-tv/recording_directory` and tell
me what it says. You say that you checked the directories, is that
correct?

i think that in the stable version they have fixed it. I'm testing

I'm having the same type of issue as above. As i have a different
motherboard I've entered it in as a new bug here:

I tried a fresh install on a new master HD, a 1.5 TB SATA. I got 90+% of
the way through the install and then came a pop-up:
