Please attach a verbose log (-v) where you try to record a program.
Also, run this `gconftool-2 -g /apps/me-tv/recording_directory` and tell
me what it says. You say that you checked the directories, is that
correct?
Finally, did the program that you were trying to record have any special
characters in it.
