Got about the same with nvidia 9800GX2 and dual monitor. I think it does
not come from the nvidia driver, I use the 180.44, as I did on Ubuntu
8.10 where there was no problem.

I have the same problem. If i choose "cancel" or "ok" button, the
message come back. If I choose "reindex all contents", follow a message

I've managed to download from packages.ubuntu.com the source code for the
current jaunty version of libical. Compiled with CFLAGS=-g -O0 moved the
generated libical, libicalss and libicalvcal to /usr/lib replaced each symbolic
link to use the new build, and it worked! :)

Daniels workaround worked on Compaq 6715b. Removed and inserted the sd-
card as described and that seemed to get it out of the cycle. I did
only test the first "try-without-installing option" from the menu.

incorrect battery empty icon shown in notification
As an aside, the oem group's general approach to this problem in UNR is:
* Language packs for target languages are included as debians (uninstallled)
in the image
* A script runs post oem-config and pre-gdm that installs the debians for the
user-selected language, and then the non-selected lang
Also seeing this problem with Evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu1 using my
Exchange account, and I'm not getting any of the noise about missing
icons. Valgrind and GDB output attached.

There is no "vanilla" or "debianized" versions as such. python3-defaults
is just a bunch of meta-packages that depend on the default version of
Python (python3 in this case). The packaging of Python is such that
there can be multiple versions of python in the repository, which can be
installed side
