To me my bug is a little different from mentioned above. That problem was mouse
tilt wheel is not working properly, while mine bug is that tilt function of
wheel is not detected.

It was clearly stated in the known issues of alpha4
(http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/jaunty/alpha4#Known%20Issues) that the package

I myself consider that a stupid decision, because the live cd is the primary
way to promote ubuntu (and overall kubuntu with the fresh new kde 4.2) b
I'm moving this report to linux.

I have some problems with openafs 1.4.7. The sudo /etc/init.d/openafs-
client restart doesn't work, but when doing the sudo modprobe openafs
and sudo afsd it all seems to work. BUT very slow!

Update with workaround:
If you run
sudo apt-get install boxbackup-server
And just reply on the two prompts with just pressing the key and
then when the installation is complete run
sudo dpkg-reconfigure boxbackup-server
It actually seams like the package is installed :-)

I've tried to login from a remote PC with ssh; restarting gdm make login
screen reappear but mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. ctrl-alt-bksp

In Jaunty alpha-4 (nm-applet 0.7.0), no tooltips are shown during
association with an AP. If the cursor is held over the icon when

Same thing here connecting from Intrepid client (x86) - to an arch linux
freenx server - i.e no arrow keys, etc
- I could always connect from gentoo, arch linux and opensuse fine -
however I use KDE on these systems

With today's update from openjdk-6-jre & co. from version 6b11-2ubuntu2 to

On Hardy Alternate Beta 8.04 it fails to boot. It flashes green screen
and after that boot itself again.
Just before green screen flash t5000 says this: "memory size detection
The fix worked for me with an RTL8111/8168B on an ASRock GM31
motherboard.
A quick note for users, when kernel updates automatically via Ubuntu update you
need to repeat steps:
04 - $ cd /usr/src/r8168-8.005.00
05 - $ sudo make clean modules
06 - $ sudo make install
07 - $ sudo depmod -a
08 - $ s
