Trying Jaunty Alpha3 32 bit version with my Toshiba Satellite Pro L300

It was working today morning, but then I re-connected Pidgin and the same

I just noticed that the XDG menu has an Exec line rezound --audio-
method=jack. However, if jack is not started, you get the same
behaviour, rezound crashes on trying to record. How on earth are users
supposed to know that jackd is needed for Rezound? Better really fix
this issue.

As a workaround, you can use the eclipse update manager (it requires
eclipse to be run as root for installation).
For information, pydev v1.4.x brings the support of python 2.6 and
python 3.0 (py3k) which are major features :)
I haven't seen any error using the workaround described above, for now
I added the nodfs mount option in fs/cifs/connect.c in my intrepid
kernel (2.6.27-2), recompiled the kernel, installed it and restarted. I

I just marked 295874 as a duplicate as it was later reported. There is a
screenshot of the situation.
I just did my first new physical installation after 2 years of
successfull upgrades. In my case I had 40GB NTFS and 120GB of free
space, which was absolutely ignored by the "guided" (aka not smart
I tried 9.04.
With uswsusp I managed to get Suspend to RAM working, but not
Hibernation.
It manages to hibernate, but fails to wake up from image it saves, and
does normal boot instead.
BTW: Why is uswsusp outdated in Ubuntu? Version 0.8 is already
available.

Same problem on Hardy 8.04.
The fix does not work for my setup, it has exactly the same result

Same here, and memory usage grows fast, at least 1MiB each minute. If I
let ktorrent opened for 10 hours, it grows at least 600MiB in memory.
This morning I saw it again with more than 700MiB, and starting to "eat"
my swap.

after available updates, the panels were lost. I had to remove the folder .kde.
At reporting the bug, there came error message:

I solved my problem!!! - don't know whether this will solve yours...
My /var partition was full. CUPS uses /var during its filtering process
(/var/spool??). Since it couldn't write to the directory, printing
failed!
It turns out that my backup utility filled up the partition without me
realisin

I am experiencing the same issue. My home wireless network is D-Link
router 802.11G. My ubuntu Laptop is a Lennovo R61i ThinkPad. The
wireless driver is iwl3945. I have successfully used this laptop on open
wireless networks and WPA secure networks at a local coffee house with
no issues. However wh
I found what the problem is - it's some incompatibility of nautilus and NTFS
filesystem of my external drive.
When I have nautilus hanging and try to unmount it via terminal - it responds
that the drive is busy and cannot be unmounted, "lsof" does not respond either.

I've checked all the comments.
It's NOT solved. There's a temporary workaround with "Mouse Keys and
deselect [ ] Enable keyboard accessibility features"
But It's only TEMPORARY.
Without pressing Shift-NumLock, It's being enabled again.
