screen vnc session and want to send Alt+F4 to the guest. If somehow the
focus is still on the vinagre window, vinagre closes and saves this

I've tried AMD64 2.6.28-2.3-generic with Jaunty userspace, and with
Intrepid userspace, and NFS is b0rked with both (nfs client and nfs
server). Mounts work with -o nolock, though. (-o nolock doesn't
require NFS lockd to be running). Otherwise, NFS mount attempts time
out.

After quite a but of hunting and messing around, I found out the source

gksudo nautilus, then double-clicking to open an OpenOffice file--and

I'm not sure that this is entirely a good idea. /etc/gdm/Xsession is
run as /bin/sh, which on my system is dash. Sourcing my ~/.profile,
which is intended for $SHELL (ksh in this case) doesn't always work out
as intended.
