I guess this is related, since CTRL+C is the "copy" action in X, but if
you use it in the terminal, it sends an exit signal to the foreground
process.
What happens is, I believe, that ^C is sent also to the terminal spawning X,

Personally, I solved the problem by deactivating the cd/dvd drive in the
BIOS (yes.. it sounds weird.. but for some reason, the kernel recognizes
the drive when it's off in the BIOS.. and the drive works perfectly

I am having problems with Shockwave Flash. It seems to work in youtube
but when I go to sites of the xxx nature, it does not play the video. I
have removed and installed it too many times to count. Can you please
help with this issue?

I added Option "RenderAccel" "False" in the "Device" section but it
didn't change the problem, then I added that in the "Screen" section and
it also changed nothing. Do I have to restart after changing the file?

Till, with the command line you provided the page setup is correct!
lpr -o number-up=2 -o page-set=odd output.pdf
lpr -o number-up=2 -o page-set=even output.pdf
gives page 1 and 2 on the first sheet (instead of 1 and 3)

I can confirm this, except that invoking "killall metacity" only worked
the first time I tried it. After rebooting, this seemed to have no

Me too, and I found out more as to how to provoke it. It happens if I
have 'es' or 'es_ES' in the LANGUAGE with LANG set to en_GB.UTF-8:

Hi,
Unsure of the best way of communicating this, however it's not
duplicate. the problems are different and the symptoms in the bug you've
moved it to are not occuring on my system.
